These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LightSignal ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

LightSignal connects, read-only, to accounting and point-of-sale tools you already use and provides plain-language business insights, forecasting, and recommendations. LightSignal cannot move money, make purchases, or modify records in any connected account.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscription & Billing

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start a trial, but you will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and will not be charged. After the trial, your subscription renews monthly until cancelled.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to interfere with the Service's operation, or to attempt to access data belonging to another account or business.

Data & Third-Party Connections

You authorize LightSignal to connect, read-only, to the third-party accounting and point-of-sale platforms you choose to link. You can disconnect any integration at any time. Our Privacy Policy describes how your data is collected, used, and protected.

Disclaimer

LightSignal provides business insights and recommendations for informational purposes. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and you remain responsible for decisions made about your business.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon cancellation, you may request deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
